High Steaks! A Beef Marketing Competition
Use your creativity and develop a marketing strategy for beef! Learn about agriculture careers, nutrition, and the beef industry. You can win up to $200 and a beef lunch for your classroom. Talk to your teacher and register to participate. Final projects are due by March 15. Winners will be announced no later than April 10.
Gobble Up! A Turkey Marketing Competition
Use your creativity and develop a marketing strategy for turkey! Learn about agriculture careers, nutrition, and the turkey industry. You can win up to $200 and a turkey lunch for your classroom. The 2023 Gobble Up! Turkey Marketing Competition has closed. Be sure to check back in the fall for the 2024 contest!
A Bushel of Stories: A Student Writing Competition
Iowa students in grades 3-8 are welcome to participate in this competition. Judging and publishing of A Bushel of Stories submissions has been paused for an indefinite period. Submit qualifying stories by March 22 to be eligible to be entered in a drawing to receive and agricultural themed gift for the classroom. The drawing will take place no later than April 15.

PizzaThon: A Farm-to-Table Pizza Competition
Engage grades K-5 Iowa students in the science and social studies of producing pizza ingredients! Use curated lesson plans and resources to teach the concepts necessary to complete the project. Final projects are due by February 5. Winners will be announced no later than February 26.

- Crops Feed the World: Crops feed the World is an online resource that is available for anyone to use. To access click the link for an article about the program, within the article is a link to the ISU Moodle. Participants will need to create an account. After logging in, click 4-H programs, and Crops feed the World is the first option. Each unit has its own lesson plan, hands-on, and online components.
