Vegging Out Project Overview
The Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation (IALF) is issuing this Request for Proposal to retain an author to develop an upper elementary to middle school nonfiction book featuring Iowa specialty crop farms and production to encourage learning about Iowa agriculture and nutrition. The selected author will have input to guide the book’s direction. Note: This book will be accompanied by IALF-developed corresponding lesson plans and activities. These materials will be used to enhance Iowa students learning about agriculture in their state.
